Trish is hosting the Non-fiction Five Challenge which will run from May 1 to September 30, 2010. Here are the rules from Trish's blog:
1. Read 5 non-fiction books during the months of May - September, 2010 (please link your reviews on Mister Linky each month; Mister Linky can be found at the beginning of each month on this (Trish's) blog)
2. Read at least one non-fiction book that is different from your other choices (i.e.: 4 memoirs and 1 self-help)
3. If interested, please sign up below with the link to your NFF Challenge post (all choices do not need to be posted and may change at any time)
I really look forward to participating in this challenge!
I'm planning on doing this challenge too. Have any ideas on what you are going to be reading?
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of books in mind - a book on Jane Austen's work and a book on crime fiction by P.D. James - I still have to come up with three others. I'm curious to see what everyone will be reading!
ReplyDeleteLike I need another challenge, but count me in. I have LOTS of nonfiction and it will give me an excuse to weave these books in (and whittle down the tbr pile).
ReplyDeleteThats an unusual one, I cant participate this time but its interesting as about 99% of non-fiction I have read is because of a book group. I reviewed wedlock on my blog and I would recommend that as well as the devil in the white city.
ReplyDeleteNancy - I enjoy nonfiction too - and try to make every fourth read a NF if I can. I am trying to decide if I want to read memoirs - something that I don't do too often.
ReplyDeleteJessica - I wish I were a member of a good book group, its a great way to read things we usually don't.
Sounds like fun! Good luck with it!
